A 473 ml two-in-one from ATTITUDE's Super Leaves range — shampoo and shower gel in a single bottle, aimed at flaking scalps. Vegan, EWG VERIFIED, free from parabens, sodium laureth sulfate and silicones.
First, an honest distinction that will save you money. Two quite different things get called dandruff. One is a dry, tight scalp that sheds small white flakes — usually caused by over-washing, harsh detergents, hard water or winter heating. A gentle, well-formulated cleanser like this one genuinely helps, because the problem is the washing.
The other is seborrhoeic dermatitis: larger, oilier, yellowish flakes on a red, itchy scalp, driven by an overgrowth of Malassezia, a yeast that lives on everyone's skin and misbehaves on some. That is a medical condition, and it responds to specific antifungal agents — zinc pyrithione, piroctone olamine, ketoconazole, selenium sulfide. A plant-based shampoo contains none of those and will not clear it. If your flaking is greasy, itchy and persistent, a pharmacist can help you far more than this bottle can.
We would rather tell you which of the two you have than sell you the wrong product twice.
What this is genuinely good at. Washing a scalp gently and often, without stripping it. If harsh shampoo is what is irritating your scalp, switching to something mild is the entire cure. And as a two-in-one it is a practical, low-clutter product — one bottle in the shower instead of two, and useful for travel and the gym bag.
On “for men”. That is a fragrance and marketing decision, not a formulation one. Scalps do not differ by gender in any way that changes what a shampoo should do. Buy it if you like how it smells.
