NOW Foods Betaine HCl 648 mg (120 capsules) combines hydrochloric betaine with a complex of plant enzymes. Each dose of two capsules provides 1296 mg of betaine HCl and 300 mg of stable protease in acid, from fermentation with Aspergillus niger. This supplement is taken with meals and has been specially formulated for use in combination with food. The capsules are suitable for vegetarians and contain an enzyme that works similarly to pepsin, but of vegetable origin.
