Cade Wood Essential Oil

Steam-distilled from the wood of the cade tree (Juniperus oxycedrus), a small Mediterranean shrub of the juniper family, this oil carries a warm, smoky-woody aroma reminiscent of cedar. Long valued in traditional herbal practice, Cade is known as a purifying oil with a reputation for restorative, skin-loving qualities. It is especially associated with hair and scalp care, where it has traditionally been used to help soothe an itchy or flaky scalp.

Topical: Dilute about 3 drops in 1 tablespoon of a carrier oil and massage into the skin.
