A correction we have to make
The manufacturer's copy for this box describes the creams as "certified organic and vegan". For this particular set, that is not accurate. The Honey hand cream contains Mel (honey) and Cera Alba (beeswax), both of which are animal-derived. It is certified organic; it is not vegan, and neither is a box containing it.
We have left the honey cream in the set because it is a good product and because most buyers are not vegan. But if you are buying this as a gift for someone who is, buy the Floral Escape box instead — orange blossom, tiaré, peony and vanilla — or check each tube's ingredient list yourself.
What is in the box

Cherry Blossom — delicate and powdery. Like peony, cherry blossom yields almost no extractable natural scent, so this is a reconstructed fragrance, as it is in every brand.

Jasmine — the most intense of the four; heady and floral.

Mandarin — the bright, tangy one.

Honey — warm and gourmand. Contains real honey and beeswax (see above).
How the formula works
Vegetable glycerin draws water to the skin surface, aloe vera adds water and polysaccharides, and shea butter forms the layer that slows evaporation. Humectant plus occlusive is what every working moisturiser does. Where the copy says "hydrated*", the asterisk means the water content of the upper layers of the epidermis — not hydration from within.
Fragrance, honestly
Four scents, four fragrance mixtures, and fragrance is the leading cause of contact allergy in cosmetics. Limonene from mandarin, benzyl benzoate and benzyl salicylate from jasmine, linalool and geraniol throughout — these are natural constituents and they are all on the EU's list of 26 substances that must be declared precisely because they cause reactions. Natural is not the same as hypoallergenic.
